 Senior Care Volunteer Programs
Volunteers Needed for Catholic Social Services' Senior Programs.
During February, Catholic Social Services is seeking to recruit volunteers to provide in-home visiting and respite care for homebound seniors in Montgomery County. Those who register as volunteers in February will have an opportunity to participate in a free care-giver training program.
The educational trainings will be at the CSSMV Center for Families, 1046 Brown Street, Dayton, from 5:30-8 p.m.
March 5 - Senior Visiting and Respite Care Programs' orientation
March 12 - Sensitivity to Aging;
March 26 - Chronic Illness; April 2 - Alzheimers Disease
April 9 - Universal Health Precautions & Transferring Techniques
(This session will be held at Miami Valley Hospital, 1 Wyoming St.)
