Ohio To Work, an initiative from JobsOhio and supporting partners, helps job-seeking Ohioans find career resources to find work or to move into long-term careers with local employers. Ohio To Work brings together existing organizations to reach unemployed and at-risk workers in Ohio by expanding coaching and support services, career services, tools, training programs and supplementing funding options to cover training costs – giving Ohioans looking for jobs the tools they need to find work. The initiative’s focus is on careers in healthcare, manufacturing, and information technology.
Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley provides a continuum of support services for individuals in need – regardless of their faith or background. Through our Family Stabilization & Support program (with services available in both English and Spanish) CSSMV can help you overcome barriers to employment including supporting access to food, benefits, and other basic needs. CSSMV also offers specialized employment programming for refugees, assisting new arrivals with initial employment and supporting job training and upgrades for refugees up to five years post arrival. CSSMV case managers and coaches are here to help you secure employment and remain employed.
