LifeLink

Teen LifeLink is a free program for male and female youth ages 10 to 19. Professional staff and trained volunteers lead weekly educational groups in community-based centers. The groups focus on reducing risk-taking behaviors such as alcohol and drug use. Groups are offered at Burkhardt Community Center, Wesley Center, Trotwood YMCA, Dakota Center, Mounds Street Academy, Wolfcreek, Arise Academy, and Founders Family Center.

The Teen LifeLink program also teaches the importance of cultural diversity, values clarification and goal attainment. Teen LifeLink members participate in field trips and are involved with community service projects. The group also offers leadership opportunities for older members.
